The Inheritance
Your Uncle Jerry was always a character. While everyone else in the family went to college and got "real jobs," Jerry bought himself a scrapyard on the edge of town. For forty years, he ran Uncle Jerry's Scrapyard & Salvage, crushing cars, sorting metal, andβaccording to himβ"finding treasure in other people's junk."
Last Tuesday, Jerry passed away. No kids, no spouse, just youβhis favorite (only) nephew/niece. The lawyer handed you a rusty key and a handwritten note:
So here you are, standing in front of mountains of scrap metal, a rusty hydraulic press, and what appears to be three decades of accumulated "treasures." Time to get to work.
